Founded in 2002, Bury St Edmunds Investments Limited has operated in a variety of market sectors within the town.
Originally focusing on the commercial sector, Bury St Edmunds Investments bought, restored and sold multiple commercial properties in the town centre including prime office and retail spaces.
Throughout this time, our restoration projects ranged from 2-3 month refurbishments, to pain staking renovations of Grade 1 & 2 listed buildings which ranged from over 12 - 18 months. These renovations were all undertaken in partnership with English Heritage and St Edmundsbury Council to assure we preserved, refurbed and restored each building sympathetically and to the highest of standards.
One of our most beloved restorations, ‘Cupola House’ was saved by Bury St Edmunds Investments from the buildings at risk register. We purchased the building from Greene King and after the very extensive renovation has been completed, the company made a move into the restaurant business and ran and operated it as a successful venue until it was sold to the national restaurant chain Strada.
In 2017, we turned our focus to a pre-existing property within our portfolio - Weaver House. Bury St Edmunds Investments purchased this property as an investment piece back in 2009. After 8 years of tenant occupation, we decided to convert the building into residential.
This remains our focus today - providing residential properties for housing and letting markets in Bury St Edmunds
With almost 20 years in both the residential and commercial sectors, we have restored, redeveloped and reinvented some of the most prominent properties in Bury St Edmunds. A trend that we are keen to continue.
We are committed to sourcing, designing and developing new and imaginative sites across Suffolk and pride ourselves on creating trusted and personal relationships with our clients but producing schemes that we ourselves would be proud to call home.
Aside from our development projects and growing property portfolio, Bury St Edmunds Investments has built a portfolio of investments in a wide variety of market sectors.
These include; AI technology, commoditiy trading, waste material recycling, soft beverages, property managment, hospitality and construction.
